As a part of the acquirers due diligence process, Hickman Shearer was instructed to undertake capital asset due diligence and perform a valuation of their machinery and equipment owned and operated.
The nature of the business, means the various Subject Assets are located at several different client sites. These are mainly in Scotland, but also in England and Ireland.
Contracts included the detailed inspection and professional valuation of all of their port machinery and equipment, relating to stevedoring and logistics.
After the success of the initial technical due diligence and valuation project, Hickman Shearer has subsequently performed three mandates for JST.
