Tim is a Managing Director of Hickman Shearer and is a specialist plant and equipment valuer with over 30 year’s experience. He was previously a Director at KPMG where he was responsible for the capital asset valuation practice across the EMEA region.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and an RICS Registered Valuer. He holds an MSc from Cranfield University in sustainable design.

He has significant experience in asset management, corporate finance, debt advisory, balance sheet and purchase price allocation, restructuring and regulatory valuations. He has extensive experience and has provided material advice in the banking, broadcast and communications, transportation, mining and construction industries.

He has extensive valuation knowledge and experience across multiple industries and has worked extensively across Central and Western Europe (Albania, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia and Romania) and Asia (Hong Kong Philippines and South Korea).

Tim is a Managing Director of Hickman Shearer with extensive experience in asset valuation, management and sales.

Tim is a fully qualified member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

Tim has a wide and extensive experience after working at Deloitte LLP in their valuation team in both Canada and the UK, where Tim led the tangible asset valuation team in London. Prior to this he worked at RBS’s asset management team and started his career at GoIndustry in the asset based lending valuation team in 2007.

He has global experience across many industries and geographies in performing complex valuations for various purposes.

Francoise is a Senior Manager at Hickman Shearer, who joined in 2018 having previously worked as Tax analyst at Ernst & Young – GDS, India. She specialises in complex plant and equipment valuations and has valuation experience across various industries.  Francoise has a MSc in Business Management with Entrepreneurship from Oxford Brookes University.

Sameer joined Hickman Shearer in 2020 as an Asset Management Analyst after being at EY as a Transaction Analyst. Prior to this he completed a BEng in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sheffield and was a Research Assistant at the University of Strathclyde looking into the determination of Interfacial Heat Transfer Coefficient (I-HTC) in Hot Forging.

He now prides himself on working in the world of finance with a background in engineering. Sameer has experience in valuation modelling, report writing and specialises in asset valuations for Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), fair value measurement valuation and inventory valuation. He uses this to provide advice for transaction, litigation and financial reporting purposes.

His experience expands across a variety of different sectors such as aviation, oil & gas, banking, real estate, manufacturing and technology.

Starting out, Luke studied Real Estate at Nottingham Trent University. This is one of the only RICS accredited degrees in the country. After graduating in 2019, Luke continued to build his experiences with a role in real estate. Here he significantly expanded his knowledge and expertise in commercial surveying, sales, lettings and valuations.

Joining Hickman Shearer in 2021 has enabled him to further his expertise while broadening his asset management skills. The scope of the role plays to his strengths of being adaptable and versatile.

Jack joined Hickman Shearer in 2022. He completed his History Degree in 2021 and since then worked within the insurance industry within an advisory role at Marsh – the broker arm of Marsh McLennan.

Working within their UK corporate team Jack had exposure to a range of FTSE 100 and 250 clients. This significantly developed his understanding of commercial insurance, particularly focusing on the criteria and approaches ideal for use when undertaking insurance valuations.

First starting out in the industry at PEAC Solutions and then Interbay Asset Finance, George is focused across the various streams of the business. During his career, George has built his knowledge of the asset finance industry and works with every member of the Hickman Shearer team. His adaptability naturally lends him to being involved across a wide variety of industry sectors and projects.

George has a Masters in History and also has a great interest in music!
