- Case Study
10/08/2022
Brief
As a result of a major investment programme many historic and new assets either had incorrect remaining life estimates, incorrect ledger codings and values.
Work
Film studio assets are varied and have very different characteristics from long life structures to short life IT and production equipment.
Each asset was inspected and either reconciled or added to the fixed asset register creating an accurate schedule.
Our research, analysis and experience in this sector enabled us to allocate a fair value to each asset.
Outcome
As a result the relevant stakeholders were able to obtain clarity of the value of the balance sheet assets.
Additionally, the asset owner received a ‘clean’ fixed asset register showing remaining useful lives and fair value by individual asset.
