Hickman Shearer is delighted to be exhibiting at this year’s Media Production & Technology Show 2026, taking place on 13–14 May at Olympia London. As one of the UK’s leading events for the broadcast, media and production industry, MPTS brings together thousands of professionals to explore the technologies, partnerships and ideas shaping the future of content creation.
You’ll find Hickman Shearer at Stand L53, where our team will be on hand across both days to connect with industry peers, share market insight, and showcase how we are supporting the evolving needs of the broadcast sector.
Powering the Circular Economy in Broadcast
At the heart of Hickman Shearer’s approach is a commitment to driving the circular economy within the broadcast and production industry. In a sector where innovation moves quickly, equipment can often be replaced long before the end of its useful life. Our specialist auction platform helps to address this by ensuring that high-quality broadcast and production assets are redeployed, reused and kept within the industry.
By extending the lifecycle of equipment, we help reduce waste while enabling businesses to operate more efficiently. Sellers can unlock value from surplus or redundant assets, while buyers gain access to premium, production-ready equipment at a fraction of the cost of buying new. It’s a model that not only supports sustainability goals, but also delivers tangible commercial benefits.
Preview Our Upcoming Premium Auction
At Stand L53, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a preview of our upcoming Premium Broadcast & Production Equipment Auction, taking place from 26–28 May.
This sale is particularly significant. Hosted on behalf of a major OEM, the auction forms part of a relocation to a newly built, state-of-the-art headquarters. As part of this transition, a substantial archive of broadcast, film production and supporting technical assets is being released back into the market.
Rather than being decommissioned or stored indefinitely, this equipment is being reintroduced into the industry, ensuring it continues to deliver value to new owners and productions. It’s a powerful example of the circular economy in action, and one that reflects a growing shift in how organisations are approaching asset management.
On the stand, we will be showcasing a video of the assets from the archive, giving visitors a first-hand look at the quality and range available in the sale.
